About us

At Roots Construction we are passionate about what we do. The team are highly skilled, and work with architects and trusted suppliers to reduce heat loss and energy consumption, using quality materials and construction techniques, to build beautiful and highly durable homes. As a company we are proactively committed to working with a high level of sensitivity to environmental factors. The Roots team are trained in Passivhaus construction, and have the knowledge and skills to work in compliance with 2024 Biodiversity net gain legislation.

We are experienced in working collaboratively with architects, designers and clients to make sure our projects run smoothly. Our team offer end to end project management from early planning, any groundworks required, along with all aspects of the build though to completion.

At Roots we take great pride in the skills and creative craftsmanship we have within our team which allows us to offer high spec bespoke design installations and finishing touches.

We also have a portfolio of garden design and landscaping projects, where we have created breathtaking garden havens with beautiful design aspects whilst working with nature to enhance environmentally friendly spaces where wildlife can flourish.

We take great care over the wellbeing and safety of our workers through a high level of health and safety training and on site measures to ensure a safe site and the safety of visitors to sites. We always aim to foster good relationships with neighbours that may be affected by construction.

We approached Roots Construction to build us a home on Shoreham Beach because we needed a team with the experience, who really understood the building requirements and challenges of coastal living. Based on the beach, with an impressive portfolio of local build and refurb properties, we arranged a meeting to chat about building our Passiv low energy home.

It was quickly apparent that Roots were a great fit for what we wanted to achieve.
